This practical compliance course takes you through the reporting obligations that apply to every Cyprus regulated entity — CIFs, CASPs, ASPs, AIFMs, EMIs and beyond. Across thirteen sections you will work through the legal framework in Law 188(I)/2007, the CySEC AML/CFT Directive and the EU rulebook; the legal standard of “suspicion” and the personal offences of failure to report and tipping off; the transactional and behavioural red flags behind the 2025–2026 MOKAS and CyCI typologies, including technology-enabled fraud, money mules and virtual-asset risk; and how to prepare and submit high-quality STRs and SARs through goAML under the revised MOKAS Guidelines (Circular C781). Roughly half the material is drawn from legislative and regulatory extracts with interpretation, supported by real 2025 reporting statistics, four sector case studies and a 15-question knowledge check. By the end you will be able to decide when, what and how to report — and defend that decision to CySEC and MOKAS.
This training provides 5 CPD hours.
