A professional training course for compliance officers, MLROs, investment professionals, directors and senior management of regulated financial services businesses.
This course develops the firm’s Risk-Based Approach (RBA) into a standalone, practitioner-level programme grounded in Seychelles law and international FATF standards.
By the end of this course, participants will be able to —
- Explain the legal basis of the RBA under the AML/CFT Act, 2020 (Cap. 251), Part VI, and the supervisory roles of the FSA, FIU and Central Bank of Seychelles.
- Design and document entity-wide and customer-level ML/TF risk assessments using the statutory risk factors in section 32(2).
- Apply risk-sensitive CDD, EDD, ongoing monitoring, PEP and suspicious-transaction obligations in practice.
- Evidence, review and monitor the RBA to a standard that withstands FSA supervisory scrutiny.
Recognise common regulatory deficiencies and the FATF / ESAAMLG expectations reflected in the Seychelles framework
